GeoShift - Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern the use of the GeoShift application developed by TCLabs. By using the application, you are deemed to have accepted these terms.

1. Service Description

GeoShift is a professional mobile geodesy application that converts between 263 EPSG coordinate systems. It is designed for surveying engineers, geodesists, field workers and related professionals. The application offers professional tools such as coordinate conversion, multi-epoch GNSS survey, stakeout (including AR navigation), track recording, batch conversion, KML/KMZ viewing, COGO calculations, Grid↔Ground, site calibration, map and drawing, cut/fill (cubage), elevation profile, geotagged camera (GeoCamera) and parcel queries.

2. Terms of Use

  • You may only use the application for lawful purposes.
  • Reverse engineering, extracting or modifying the source code of the application is prohibited.
  • Redistributing or copying the application for commercial purposes is prohibited.
  • You must avoid actions that could compromise the security of the application.

3. Accuracy and Liability

GeoShift aims for high accuracy in coordinate conversions using the proj4dart projection engine. However:

  • Conversion results are for informational purposes and do not replace official measurements.
  • Independent verification of results is recommended for critical engineering projects.
  • TCLabs does not provide absolute guarantees regarding the accuracy of conversion results.
  • GPS location accuracy depends on device hardware and environmental conditions.
  • TCLabs cannot be held responsible for direct or indirect damages resulting from incorrect conversion results.

4. File Processing

GeoShift processes CSV, TXT, NCN, XYZ, NEZ, PNT, KML and KMZ files locally on your device:

  • Uploaded files are not sent to our servers.
  • File processing takes place entirely on the device.
  • The user is responsible for the accuracy of generated output files (PDF, CSV, NCN).

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights of the GeoShift application, logo, design and content belong to TCLabs. They may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without written permission.

6. Application Updates

TCLabs reserves the right to update, modify or discontinue the application at any time. Updates may include new EPSG codes, feature improvements and bug fixes.

7. Subscription and Payment (GeoShift Pro)

GeoShift Pro is available with the following subscription options:

  • GeoShift Pro Monthly: Monthly auto-renewable subscription.
  • GeoShift Pro Yearly: Yearly auto-renewable subscription.
  • GeoShift Pro Lifetime: One-time purchase, no subscription required.

Features unlocked with GeoShift Pro: multi-epoch GNSS field survey, stakeout and AR navigation, batch conversion, KML/KMZ import, track recording, unlimited saves, PDF export, and HD satellite/terrain (Mapbox) map layers.

Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscription Length and Auto-Renewal: The monthly subscription renews every month and the yearly subscription renews every year. Subscriptions automatically renew at the same price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time via Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation does not affect your access until the end of the current period.

Free Trial: The monthly and yearly plans include a 1-week (7-day) free trial (lifetime plan excluded). At the end of the trial the paid subscription begins unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a paid subscription.

Refunds: Payment and refund transactions are subject to Apple App Store policies.

Our Privacy Policy and these Terms of Use apply to subscriptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

TCLabs is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the application. This applies in particular to coordinate conversion errors, GPS accuracy deviations and file processing issues.

9. Governing Law

These terms of use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Disputes will be resolved in Turkish courts.

10. Amendment of Terms

TCLabs reserves the right to modify these terms of use at any time. Changes will be effective from the date they are published on our website.
