On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot Password" to request a reset link to your registered email. If you used Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, follow that provider's own password recovery process.
Yes. You can stay signed in simultaneously on iPhone, iPad, and (in the future) Android devices using the same email or Apple/Google account. Your garage, forum, and messages sync across all devices.
To permanently delete your account:
Currently supported brands: BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Renault. To request a new brand, write to support@tclabs.app. The most-requested brands (Hyundai, Skoda, Kia, Peugeot) are on our roadmap.
No limit. You can add as many vehicles as you wish.
No. License plate is shown only on your device, only on garage cards you view yourself. It is not shared in forums or messages.
Tap your vehicle in the garage and use the "Edit" option to update the fields.
Forum threads are grouped by engine. Threads for the engine you posted about appear in their own pool. Use Garage > Your Vehicle > "Forum" tab to see threads specific to that engine. If it still doesn't appear within minutes, contact support@tclabs.app.
Long-press the relevant thread or reply and use "Report." You can also email support@tclabs.app with a link. Content violating our community rules is reviewed within 24 hours.
On the Chronic Issues screen, tap "+ Report New Issue." Reports go through admin approval before being added to the database; this process can take 1-3 days.
Go to iOS Settings β CarFix β Notifications to disable all notifications. Per-category disable (forum reply, followed issue, etc.) inside the app is coming soon.
The current version shows only banner ads; full-screen ads are not active. A Premium subscription with ad-free experience may be offered later, but currently no such option exists.
Go to iOS Settings β Privacy & Security β Tracking and disable CarFix's permission. You will then see non-personalized ads.
Yes β under KVKK and GDPR you have the right to request a copy of your data. Email support@tclabs.app from your registered email address; you will receive a JSON export within 30 days.
Following an account deletion request, user data (profile, garage, posts, messages) are permanently deleted within 30 days. Logs that must be retained for legal reasons (e.g., abuse audits) are kept anonymously.
Yes. Because we use Google Cloud infrastructure, data are processed in European data centers (primary region: europe-west). See the Privacy Policy for details.
First, fully close the app and reopen it. If the problem persists:
Ensure iOS Settings β CarFix β Notifications is enabled. Also check that notifications are turned on in the in-app Account Settings section. If the issue persists, delete and reinstall the app.
Make sure iOS Settings β CarFix β Photos permission is set to "All Photos" or at least "Selected Photos." Photos larger than 5 MB are automatically resized.
